In the darkest days, when appearances seem most forbidding, have faith in God . . .

In the darkest days, when appearances seem most forbidding, have faith in God. He is working out His will, doing all things well in behalf of His people. The strength of those who love and serve Him will be renewed day by day. MH 482.

You can do nothing in your own strength, but in the strength of Jesus you can do all things. If you are in Christ, and Christ is in you, you will be transformed, renewed, and sanctified. 4T 259.

It is obstacles that make men and woman strong. It is not helps, but difficulties, conflicts, rebuffs, that make men and woman of moral sinew. Too much ease and avoiding responsibility have made weaklings and dwarfs of those who ought to be responsible men and woman of moral power and strong spiritual muscle. 3T 495.

Whatever may be our situation, we have a Guide to direct our way; whatever our perplexities, we have a sure Counselor; whatever our sorrow, bereavement, or loneliness, we have a sympathizing Friend. If in our ignorance we make missteps, Christ does not leave us. COL 173.

He is a shield for all who take refuge in him. Psalm 18:30 (New International Version)
